City Forum

It is my first time to join a forum on TV live. Although I didn't offer any suggestion about the topic (Should we adjsut the Housing Estate resource) , Andrea & Herman had a courage to express their feelings. In fact, I felt this activity is a good experience to broaden our horizons. Sometimes, I didn't understand the people what they were talking about but I could think the topic whether we should be right to adjust the resource or not.

There is a website that you can browse--> http://www.rthk.org.hk/rthk/tv/city_forum/20041128.html

My Friend's Birthday

As my friend Winsy's birthay(on 24th Nov), we gathered together to have dinner at the restaurant in Kowloon Bay. Afterwards, we found a park to take a rest and take the photos. On the day, we were very happy to meet each other so that when we had to go home, we don't want the time go like flies. ^_^

Late & Absent

Oh... I am so lazy. On the day, I had to go to school taking a course about leader training and I was late. Actually, the lesson is the last. I thought if I was absent, I would lose an opportunity to learn more things. Therefore, I decided to go to school as quickly as possible. Although I was late, I could catch up with the classmates and not miss the chance for learning. Moreover, I should change the bad habit.

LATE & ABSENT, really is a serious problem in our school. Some classmates were absent in order to not late in school. Are they worthwhile to do that? I don' t think so. If people get ill, they could have a day off or more. After then, they may not catch up with other classmates and teachers have to spend more time on teaching them who missed the lessons. In fact, no one would want to get ill. Why are there still many people want to be absent? It just wastes our time to learn something new. Some people don't want to be late so that they are absent. If you are late in order to not be pinished, you would miss the lessons.

To conclude, both are not good for our studies and affected the atmosphere of the whole class. I think LATE can be controlled but ABSENT can' t. Hence, if you are late, don' t think you can be absent because you would miss a lot of things.

Not a 'BORING' Picnic (1)

Not a 'BORING' Picnic (2)

^^ Although the weather is not as good as we think, that' s great we had a school picnic in Sai Kung. In the morning, I dated with Katie, Ice, Swan, Candy and Real at Wong Tai Sin MTR station.

Then, we went to Diamond Hill to take the bus together. However, some people were late and Ice needed to wait for them. She was so annoyed. :-) By the way, the bus was full of LKYMS students. It' s like our school bus. haha...

When we arrived at Sai Kung Pier, some people were waiting and they shook the class flag so that we could see them clearly. In fact, when we got off the bus, it was raining. Some classmates thought they couldn' t have a great barbecue beacuse of the rain. If there was a heavy rain, I think we couldn' t set the fire and we would cancel the picnic.

Fortunately, the weather changed better as there wasn' t raining. :-) Actually, our destination is a small island so we had to take a ferry to go there. Inside the ferry, we couldn' t sit as there wasn' t any seats empty. :-( We just sat on the smaller chairs.

Do you know the day was Ice' s birthday! Our class sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY for her and she said 'thanks for everyone!' I think she was quite surprised.

Arrived the destination, most of all said' Woo... so beautiful!' That' s true! Really beautiful! I remembered my father went there with me once. ^^ Then, most of all set the fire and started the barbecue.

At this moment, Vicky and I went to the sea and played the water. Due to the rules, we couldn' t swim so that we just played a while. After that, we started eating.

Unluckily, Swan got hurt as the fork stabbed in her hand. Oh... pitiful girl! She cried and cried and I used the tissue to wipe her tears. That may be the unhappy stuff happened on her. Finally, we threw the sand to each other, played number ball and we took a lot of photos. Then, we left the place.

We were very delighted! Not Annie said and you guessed 'BORING' ;-)

Visiting Wan Chai (1)

Hee... As I study in RS, I had a causal dressing day as I need to go Wan Chai sightseeing at the lunchtime till the evening. By the way, through the visiting, we can learn about HK's culture. And I think it is really funny for me because we can learn something that we can't learn from the book!

First, we gathered together to go outside. Due to the lunchtime, we decided to go Wan Chai having a lunch at 'Lung Moon Restaurant'. ( I don't know the English name of the Chinese restaurant, but it is so famous as the restaurant has already build near a half century ) Then, we walked to the Wan Chai Market. There are a various of things for the residents. Walked along the road, we arrived a special place - Blue House. Oh, that's really different from other buildings. The whole building is almost blue, but 1/4 of the building is not blue as it is private land. However, this amazing building will be taken apart. :-(

On the other hand, Lee Tung Street ( Wedding Card street) is also faced the same problem. Most residents are the elders, why the government can't hear their voice giving a good response to them? I think the treatment is so miserable for the elders. If the elders leave their living places, they will not adapt the new life and will not know their new neightbous. Therefore, the elders will lose the connection with the whole society.

Finally, we went to a restaurant to enjoy egg-tart & cold milk tea. That's quite special for me as I could go outside school learning about HK. John, will we have an English lesson to go outside? I am looking forword to having the free day
.
