WTO





















'Down down WTO' shouted by the people on the street. WTO is really bad as it make the poor stay at a low standard of living. Why do the rich always want to get ' a fair trade' ??? Maybe they just want to think of their own living... So many reasons, so-called excuses...

    Natalie, I think you might need to do some more research into the WTO. It has, in fact, helped many poor countries. Don't believe the Korean farmers. They are only out to protect their own inefficient farming system and only care about themselves. They have absolutley no interest in the welfare of other countries at all. At least the WTO is trying to help develop poorer countries. Its methods may not be perfect but, compared to the Korean farmers.........

    That means WTO is not as bad as we think?? Apart form the Korean farmers, WTO helps a lot of poor countries get rid of the poverty. But I think the Korean farmers are such a pity although they just think about themselves. They needed to spend the money on buying tickets to join this demonstration in order to express their dissatisfaction.
    Maybe you are right! WTO can make more poorer people to improve their living standard. Therefore, we may choose the most advantageous things rather than the unit of the countries.
