What's HP? HP means Head Prefect. I joined a camp that is held by Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups (HKFYG). Actually, I am not a Head Prefect and I am just a head of peer counselling but my teacher suggested me joining this activity( just 2 students can join it). This activity is a whole course that train you to be a good leader and you have to learn how to use some creative ways to solve the problems. I have just had 2 lessons. I think I will gain a lot of experiences about being a good leader.
Talking about the camp, we had 3 tasks- first, we had to go into a hole and then found out the EXIT. The hole is dark and we could use candles/ matches but if we use these, we had to use a small paper to light them. Finally, we couldn't make use of them. We just felt the place by our hands. I held the front person's clothes and use another hand to feel the hole what is it. I thought it was really exciting as you can't see anything and just depend on feeling.
Then, the second task was to stack up 15 vehicle's wheels to eat a bite of an banana. That's really crazy but it was safe as many people helped you.
The last task was to cross a driftwood on the sky. We had to go once and then shouted our aims at being a leader. During this activity, I got hurt but I don't why. When I finished the task, I discovered my hand was bleeding. That's strange that I did't think it was painful but now I feel it. :-(
Eventually, the day camp can make me learn more what term work is. Team work are cooperation, encouragement, dependence and communiation. Right!
