Surprised

I went to my friend Vera's home. She helped me make up. But actually, she wanted someone to be her model to practise more and more. I think her skills are really not good enough. :-)

Then suddenly, her nephews came and he took a hug for me. I think he is a funny boy as he don't feel painful when someone hit him and he just says ' comfortable! ' .

So why did I feel surprised? As today is the boy's birthday, and he invited me to join his birthday party. We sang a birthday song for him.

I didn't know today is his birthday and he is so kind to invite me. It make me think about adult's world because many people like their friends, relatives giving his/ her a present when they have a birthday party. Are they materialistic? Or they just want some people to celebrate with them together? Children can be always happy but adults can't do so as they need to think a lot of difficult stuff . Can I still have a child's mind to keep myself delighted everyday?

Maybe I can learn from the boy.

Yes, I agree with you totally. Children can be happy all day but Adults can't. Can we stay at our childish world forever? The answer is definitely 'NO' and we have to be more sensible. Maybe we should think the matter simply.

Not all adults are materialistic and not all children are happy all day. Life is not so easy :-)

Say hi to Vera - what is she doing now?

    Re: John
Maybe you are right! The third-world children can't have a comfortable life so that they can't be happy. :-)
Althought there aren't all adults are materialistic, I think lots of adults would do so.

About Vera, she is studying some makeup and hair design courses in IVE. :-)) I think it is quite suitable for her!
